What is yerba maté?
Yerba maté is a tea-like leaf native to South America. Argentinians, Brazilians, Paraguayans and Uruguayans absolutely cherish it.
It tastes really delicious. We think even more so when cold and fizzy.

Yerba maté has a refreshing and subtle bitterness with a grassy and earthy flavour. We have brewed it into a soda that is bright, punchy and aromatic.
Yerba maté is quite a dynamic leaf. People drink it daily for mental clarity, boosted mood and physical energy as part of a morning ritual. It’s usually shared with friends and loved ones.
As well as our well known stimulant friend caffeine, yerba maté is abundant in two other powerful compounds. One is called theophylline which is what’s in green tea that fosters a sense of calm. The other is called theobromine which is the same compound that’s in dark chocolate, responsible for boosting your overall mood. When all together naturally in one drink, you’re feeling pretty good. You feel energised and focused.
Yerba maté is also extremely high antioxidants, nutrients and anti-inflammatory properties. Even more than its friend green tea.
